Daniel D. Rodgers, DVM
Following graduation from New Haven High School, Dr. Rodgers attended Purdue University and graduated from the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine in 1970. He returned to Fort Wayne working with small animals and horses for a period of eight years. Since that time, he has specialized in small animal medicine and surgery exclusively. He was the first veterinarian in the Fort Wayne area to specialize in Co2 laser surgery and now is the first veterinarian in Ft. Wayne to specialize in ACell Vet Regenerative Medicine. ACell Vet’s Extracelluar Matrix Technology promotes tissue regeneration while reducing scarring and pain associated with inflammation.
Dr. Rodgers is past President of both the Fort Wayne, and Northeast Indiana Veterinary Medical Associations. The Indiana Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors presented Dr. Rodgers an award “In Recognition of Leadership Ability with Generous Amounts of Volunteer Time and Talent to Achieve Goals and Objectives Promoting the Veterinary Profession to the Public.” Dr. Dan and his wife, Tammy have three children, two grandsons and one granddaughter. They also have a black standard poodle “Lexus”, a Shih Tzu “Bentley James”, a greyhound “Speed”, who is the mascot and hospital blood donor, and their cat named“Beamer.”
Their veterinary practice was founded upon, and will always follow Christian principles.
Linda M. Rowe, DVM
Dr. Linda Rowe received her DVM degree from Ross University in January 2011. She completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Rowe grew up in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Snider High School. She has an interest in general surgery, preventative medicine, and the care of reptiles and small mammals. Dr. Rowe has two dogs named “Izzy” and “Nanner” as well as a Chubby Frog named “Tubbs.”
William L. Chastain, DVM
Dr. Bill Chastain comes to us with 20 years experience as a small animal veterinarian. He received his DVM degree from Purdue University in 1992, after first graduating from DePauw University where he played basketball and earned a B.A. degree in biology in 1988. Dr. Chastain grew up in Salem, Indiana where his father was a veterinarian. He has developed expertise in the field of veterinary dentistry and oral surgery after many hours of continuing education and performing multiple dental procedures. His other interests include general surgery and preventative medicine.
Dr. Chastain has been married for 23 yrs to Tonya, a teacher for Northwest Allen County Schools. They have three children, a dog named “Ollie” and a cat named “Pedro.” When not practicing as a veterinarian, “Dr. Bill” enjoys time with family, is a sports enthusiast and jogs often to stay in shape, having competed in the Chicago Marathon.
